Church Point, LA:         A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Craig James Hebert, 62. Mr. Hebert, a native of Rayne, LA and resident of Acadia Parish near Branch, LA, passed away Monday, August 2 at his residence. Reverend Brian Harrington, pastor of the church, will be the celebrant of the Mass and interment will be in the St. Edmund Chapel Cemetery adjacent to the church.

He is survived by his wife, Audrey Fontenot Hebert of Branch; a son, Benji Hebert and wife Rebecca of Geismar, LA; a daughter, Amy Hebert and husband Brad Smith of Loganville, GA; a brother, Tony Hebert of Rayne; two sisters, Debbie Hanks and Lynette Reid and husband Randall-all of Rayne; five grandchildren: Dyllan, Parker, Olivia, Emma and Daniel Hebert; his mother-in-law, Lorita Fontenot of Church Point and a brother-in-law, Joey Fontenot and wife Paula of Church Point. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexie "Tex" Hebert and Merella Meche Hebert.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 10:00 PM on Tuesday, August 3 and continue from 8:00 AM Wednesday until the time of services. A rosary will be recited in the funeral home at 7:00 PM Tuesday by Reverend Harrington. A chemical transport trucker for a number of years and a loving husband, father and avid LSU fan, Mr. Hebert was truly loved and will truly be missed by all who knew him. Guidry Funeral Home, 219 N.
