Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 26, 2007 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, La.,for Clifton "Flap" Lejeune who died at 9:05 A.M. Friday, August 24, 2007 at our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, Lafayette, La. Mr. Lejeune was a native and life-long resident of Church Point. Father Curtis Mallet will conduct the services. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
Mr. Lejeune is survived by his wife, Jane Comeaux Lejeune of Church Point; one son, Todd Lejeune & wife Marme of Lafayette; four daughters: Sally Lejeune & husband Pat Smith of Lake Charles; Dina Guardia & husband Charles of Carencro; Lisa Bergeron & husband Daniel of Church Point and Jodi Armstrong & husband Douglas of Carencro. He is also survived by one brother, Stephen Lejeune of Eunice and six grandchildren: Tyler & Heather Bergeron, Cole & Caney Lejeune, Jasper Crochet and Gavin Armstrong.

He was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Theophine Jeanise Lejeune and a sister, Helen Olivier.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM Saturday and continue on Sunday from 7:00 AM until time of services.

A rosary was recited at 7:00 PM Saturday by Father Jefferson Deblanc.
Mr. Lejeune was a member of the Church Point Volunteer Fire Department for over 20 years and a life-long member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He retired after 34 years of service with Progressive Tractor & Implement.
