A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Guidry Funeral Home, Church Point for Mrs. Cliff (Nickie R.) Rodriguez,63, the former Clara Nickie-Lucille Richard. Mrs. Rodriguez, a native of Church Point and currently a resident of New Iberia, La., died at 12:15 P.M. Thursday, November 4 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center; Lafayette, La. Deacon Bryne Winn will conduct the service with disposition of the remains to be determined by the family.

Survivors include her husband, Cliff Rodriguez of New Iberia; four sons: Matthew Rodriguez of Palo Alto, Ca., Luke Rodriguez of Dallas, Tex., Nick Rodriguez of Lafayette and Adam Rodriguez of Delcambre, La.; seven daughters: Rachel Bourliea and Amanda Palmer of Erath, La., Michelle Mills of Macon, Ga., Elizabeth LeBlanc of Delcambre, Melissa Courville and Melanie Rodriguez of Lafayette and Tracie Freyou of Loreauville, La.; two sisters, Stephanie Boone of Richard, La. and Yvette Olivier of Church Point; twenty-seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Clara McBride Richard and a sister, Paula Jo Doucet.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the services on Sunday. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 1:45 P.M. by Deacon Winn.
