Church Point, La. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Church Point for Claude Dupre' Trahan, 36. Mr. Trahan, a life-long resident of Church Point, died at 6:15 A.M. Monday, March 2, 2009 at the American Legion Hospital; Crowley, La. Father Gregory Chauvin will conduct the services with interment following in the Monsignor Bienvenu Cemetery; Highway 35, Church Point.

Survivors include his parents, Alcus and Melissa Richard Trahan of Church Point; three sisters: Camille Bertrand and husband Ryan of Lewisburg and Aimee' Brown and husband Matthew and Renee' Trahan-all of Church Point and two brothers, Andre' Trahan and wife Nicole and Nicholas Trahan-all of Church Point. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Trahan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Claude, Sr. and Leontine Berard Trahan and his maternal grandparents, D.V. Richard and Beverly Horecky Richard.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the services on Wednesday. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday by Deacon Jim Cormier.

Pallbearers will be Andre, Nicholas, and Mike Trahan; Ryan Bertrand, Matthew Brown and Larry Lavergne.
