Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, April 1, 2013 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point for Charles Morgan Williams, Sr., 63. Mr. Williams, a native of Church Point and long-time resident of rural St. Landry Parish, died Thursday morning, March 28 at his residence. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the Monsignor Bienvenu Cemetery on Highway 35 north of Church Point.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Parker Williams of Church Point; a son, Charles Morgan Williams, Jr. and fiancee Megan Schexnider of Lafayette, La.; three daughters, Erica Williams and fiance Patrick Hebert of Lake Charles, La., Rebecca Williams and fiance David Lee Savoie of Lafayette and Rachel
Woolridge and husband Noah of New Orleans, La. and a brother, John Watkins "Te Doc" Williams and wife Carol of Lacombe, La..

He was preceded in death by his parents, Doctor Johnny Williams and Doctor Alyce Arretaig Williams.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 11:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Easter Sunday, March 31 and continue from 9:00 A.M. Monday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday by Monsignor DeBlanc.
