Church Point, LA: A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Charles R. Pepitone, 77. Mr. Pepitone, a native of Opelousas, LA and resident of Church Point, died Wednesday morning, June 24 at Our Lady of Lourdes Heart Hospital in Lafayette, LA. Visitation will be held at Guidry Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until the time of the Service. A Rosary will be recited at 2:45 PM by Deacon Byrne Winn who will conduct the Service. Interment will be at a later date.

Survivors include his son, Tony Pepitone of Church Point; his sisters, Rita Satterley of Opelousas and Debbie Chachere and husband Bobby of Lafayette and his extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Jessie Rose Joubert Pepitone; his wife Joyce Elkins Pepitone and his sisters, Jo Ann Gianfala and Cindy Pepitone.

A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Pepitone was an insurance salesman for a number of years. Personable and well-liked in the community; he was a loving husband, father and sibling. Truly loved, he will be missed by all who knew him.
