Charles blessed our lives as a devoted husband, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, son-in-law, and a friend to all who knew him. Charles was really silly, and if you knew him, he probably said "bite me" or 'they can kiss my ass' somewhere along the line in your talks with him. He was really playful, optimistic, sarcastic and always in a good mood. He had a great love for fishing and loved tinkering and fixing computers. Family and friends were very important to Charles and he let you know your importance in his life by staying in touch. Charles had a gracious heart and went out of his way to connect and help strangers in need. He had a great passion for animals and couldn't say no to taking in just one more fur kitty. Charles believed in the spirit world and often said many spirits were always with him. He also practiced quantum and lucid dreaming ~ we are certain you will see Charles appearing as a spirit or in your dreams. Charles wished to be cremated and during this time, the family held a private candlelight prayer ceremony for Charles on Sunday May 16, 2021. Charles always said that he wanted everyone to have a party in his honor, which is currently being planned.
Charles' has a grave memorial at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery (new) in Church Point, Acadia, Louisiana, with his father-in-law, James "Jimmy" Nolan Comeaux, as they were very close to each other.
