Church Point, LA:     In the interests of public safety and with regard for our families' feelings, a private memorial service will be held at a date to be determined by the family for Charles Ray Bourque, 71. Mr. Bourque, a native and resident of St. Landry Parish, LA, died Saturday afternoon, April 11 at Senior Village Nursing Home, Opelousas, LA.

Survivors include the mother of his children, Cynthia Thibodeaux Bourque of Opelousas; his daughters, Angela Boudreaux and husband Joseph Heath Boudreaux of Opelousas and Becky Hampton and husband Horace of Baton Rouge, LA; five grandchildren: Taylor Bourque, Raiden Boudreaux, Nikki Brueggman, Jordan Davis and Avery Hampton and a great-grandchild, Khyzen Bourque. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mentor and Virginia Castille Bourque and a son, Charles Ray Bourque, Jr.

Mr. Bourque was a general carpenter for a number of years.
