Church Point, LA:         Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the St. John Catholic Chapel in Lewisburg, LA for Charles Kaaryn "Blue" Thibodeaux, 60. Mr. Thibodeaux, a native and long-time resident of Lewisburg, died Friday afternoon, February 8 at his residence. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the St. John Cemetery adjacent to the church.

Survivors include his mother, Laura Guilbeau Thibodeaux of Lewisburg; two daughters, Lacey and Megan Thibodeaux of Carencro, LA; his brothers: Fred Thibodeaux and wife Tammy of Lewisburg, Pat Thibodeaux and wife Carol of Orange, TX, Wade Thibodeaux and wife Flo of Lawtell, LA, Oran Thibodeaux and wife Lynda of Sunset, LA, Frank "Rooster" Thibodeaux and wife Leisha of Patterson, LA, Mark "Zeeb" Thibodeaux of Lewisburg and Ira "Bo" Thibodeaux and wife Kathy of Opelousas, LA; a sister, Judy Courville and husband Thomas of Basile, LA and three grandchildren, Kaaryn Thibodeaux and Laila and Izabella "Izzy" Boudreaux. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Thibodeaux; a son, James Dean Thibodeaux; a daughter-in-law, Danielle Thibodeaux and an infant brother, Alfred Dale Thibodeaux. The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. on Monday, February 11 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Tuesday until the time of the services. A recitation of the Rosary will be held there at 7:00 P.M. Monday by Monsignor DeBlanc. A Tool Pusher in the Oilfield Industry for a number of years, Mr. Thibodeaux was dearly loved and will be truly missed by his extended family and friends.
