Church Point, LA : Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Lafayette, LA for Mrs. Catherine Marie Seilhan LeJeune, 87, who passed away at 5:20 AM Wednesday, May 20, at her residence in Lafayette, LA. Deacon Robert Klingman will conduct the funeral service with burial to follow in Fountain Memorial Cemetery in Lafayette. 

Growing up in Iota, LA and a resident of Lafayette, Catherine was the daughter of the late Allen Seilhan and the former Katie Launey. She loved quilting, working in her yard, cooking for her grandchildren and "going to bingo with her sister".

She is survived by her three daughters, Pauline Leger and husband Calvin of Lafayette, Karren Hays and husband Tommy of Lafayette and Regina Thomas and husband Kert of Scott; six grandchildren, Alex Hays and wife Kristen, Sawyer Hays, Cory Leger, Nicole Michaud and husband DJ, Alexis Thomas and Logan Thomas and wife Amy; six great grandchildren, Warren, Saige, Fischer, Mila, Stormy and Arlo; her sister, Beverly Stroderd; her brother, Lee Allen Seilhan and her puppy, Charlie. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Lee Allen "Mickey" LeJeune; her sister-in-law, Burna Dean Seilhan and her brother-in-law, Winston Stroderd.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Saturday, June 6, from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service.
