Church Point, LA:           A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Mr. Casey Ray Boudreaux, 39, who passed away at 11:40 AM on Friday, July 13 at at his residence. Msgr. Jefferson J. Deblanc, Pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, will be the Celebrant of the Mass. Burial will take place in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Hwy 35.
Casey, a resident of Church Point, was the son of Roger Boudreaux and Debbie Kolder. An outstanding athlete at Church Point High School, he was a Golden Glove boxer at Cajun Country Boxing Club winning many state and national awards and titles during his boxing career and an Acadian Ambulance paramedic. He loved cooking, sports and coaching his son, Drake, on his local baseball and football teams. Casey was a special person to all that knew him.
He is survived by one daughter, Gabrielle Rhae Boudreaux of Church Point; one son, Drake Kohl Boudreaux of Church Point; his mother, Debbie Kolder of Church Point; his father, Roger Boudreaux of Church Point; one sister, Stephanie Aguillard of Church Point; two brothers, Nathan Boudreaux of Eunice and Blake Boudreaux of Church Point; his Aunts and Uncles, Connie Hollier and Keith of Church Point, Kay Guidry of Church Point, Liz Leger and Bryan "Nonc" Leger of Church Point; Roy Kolder and Beverly of Plaquemine and Donald Boudreaux and Becky of Mire; his God children, Caiden Boudreaux and Bryan Joseph "B.J." Leger of Church Point, Hannah Boudreaux of Eunice and Reagan Latiolais and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Robert Leroy Kolder and Daniel and Lee Ella Guidry; paternal grandparents, Russell and Valmae Boudreaux and his cousin, Dustin Hollier.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Sunday, July 15 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM and continue on Monday from 8:00 AM until the time of services. A rosary will be recited in the funeral home on Sunday evening at 7:00 PM.
