Church Point, LA: A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Glenn Troy “Buddy” Henry, 52. Mr. Henry, a native and resident of Church Point, LA, died Wednesday morning, April 22 at his residence. Interment will be at a later date.

Survivors include his wife, Jami Patout of Church Point; his mother and stepfather, Patsy Aucoin Hebert and Robert Hebert, Jr. of Rayne, LA; his sons, Dylan Henry and wife Hannah of Carencro, LA and Benjamin Henry and Brannon Nissen-both of Church Point; a grandchild, Doss Henry; a Godchild, Tyler Clavier; a sister, Natasha Ortego and husband Joey of Tomball, TX; a brother, Chance Henry and wife Staci of Sulphur, LA and his extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Henry; his grandparents, Mavis and Easton Douga and a Godchild, Connor Lamana.

An in-field sales trainer for Crescent Crown Distributors for a number of years; Mr. Henry was a loving son, sibling, husband, father and grandfather. An accomplished athlete and devoted to his family and the Church Point Bears; he was truly loved and will be missed by his family and all who knew him.
