Church Point, LA:       A Memorial Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA  for Ms. Brenda Gail "Bennie" Dupre, 72, who passed away at 8:24 AM Sunday, May 12 at Courtyard Retirement & Assisted Living Center in Lafayette, LA. Deacon Byrne Winn, Deacon at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, will conduct the Funeral Service.

Brenda, a resident of Lafayette, Louisiana was the daughter of the late Louis Dupre Sr. and the former Hazel Dupre. She is survived by one daughter, Kelly G. Leger and husband Rickey of Carencro, LA; two sons, Clint Guidry and husband Carl Andrews of Wichita Falls, TX and Jason Guidry and wife Anna of Duson, LA; seven grandchildren, Zachary Prejean and wife Haley, Kathryn Leger, Eric Leger and wife Lindsey, Jennifer Leger, Jameson Guidry, Analyce Guidry and Durgen Cervantes; two great-grandchildren, Adonis Derouselle and Addie Prejean; two sisters, Rose and Stephanie Dupre and one brother, Steven Dupre. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Louis Dupre Jr. and Wayne Ellis Dupre; two sisters, Jeanette and Earline Dupre and her former husband, Carl W. Guidry..

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Saturday, May 18, from 9:00 AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 AM.
