Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Promise Land Church, Church Point for Brandon Burleigh, 35. Mr. Burleigh, a native of and lifelong resident of Church Point, died at 7:45 A.M. Monday, January 12, 2009 at his residence near Church Point. Pastor David Devillier will conduct the services with interment following in the Monsignor Bienvenu Cemetery; Highway 35, Church Point.

Survivors include his mother, Cynthia W. Leger of Church Point; one son, Brandon Burleigh, Jr. and two daughters, Kassidy Burleigh and Brandi Burleigh; all of Church Point. Also surviving are two brothers, Shawn Burleigh of Church Point and Gannon Burleigh of Carencro. La. and one sister, Tammy Lacombe of Gonzales, La.

Brandon was preceded in death by his dad, Kearney Leger and his Maternal Grandparents, Elgie and Gurnice Matte Lejeune

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 5 PM to 9 PM Tuesday, January 13 and continue from 10 AM Wednesday until the time of the services.
