Church Point, LA:         A Memorial Service will be held at a time to be determined by family for Bobby Joseph Vasseur, 66. Mr. Vasseur, a native of Eunice, LA and resident of Church Point, LA, passed away Sunday afternoon, July 3 at Encore Health and Rehabilitation; Crowley, LA.

He is survived by his companion, Pam Menard of Church Point; his sons, Jeremy Vasseur of Church Point, Corey Vasseur of Mamou, LA, Eric Vasseur of Kinder, LA and Dylan Vasseur of Iota, LA and his grandchildren: Jared Pelican, Conner and Ethan Vasseur, Carson Wilson and Ella, Kaiser and Riley Vasseur and his extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Early Joseph and Ethel Vasseur and a baby son, Eric Kyle Vasseur.

A loving father and grandfather, Mr. Vasseur was an engineer in the oilfield for a number of years. Truly loved, he will be missed by all who knew him. Guidry Funeral Home, 219 N. Broadway St., Church Point, LA is in charge of final arrangements.
