Church Point, LA:     In the interests of public safety and with regard for our families' feelings, a private graveside service will be held at 12:30 P.M. Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church Cemetery in Mowata, LA for Beulah Thibodeaux, 98, the former Beulah Cormier. Mrs. Thibodeaux, a native and long-time resident of rural Acadia Parish near Richard, LA, died Monday morning, April 6 at her residence. Father Joe Tran will conduct the service with interment immediately following.

Survivors include three daughters: Jeanette Thibodeaux Barrios of Cut Off, LA, Judy Vincent and husband Steve of Church Point, LA and Belinda Thibodeaux of Branch, LA; a sister, Iris White of Arizona and a grandson, Sean Vincent and wife Karen of Austin, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Louisa Daigle Cormier; her husband, Willie Thibodeaux; her long-time companion, Wesley Hornsby; three brothers, Willie, Delton and Murphy Cormier; two sisters, Hilda and Lillie Mae and a son-in-law, Joe Barry Barrios. A store owner near Richard and member of the Ladies Altar Society of St. Lawrence Church for a number of years, Mrs. Thibodeaux was loved and will be missed.
