Church Point, La. Betty Ann Cormier, age 58, of Lewisburg, LA, entered her eternal life on July 11, 2015 after battling kidney failure at the Regional Medical Center of Acadiana in Lafayette, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 15 at St. John Catholic Mission Chapel in Lewisburg.
Fr. Mark Melancon, Associate pastor of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point will be the Celebrant of the Mass and burial will take place in the St. John Cemetery adjacent to the church.

Mrs. Cormier, a resident of Lewisburg, LA was the daughter of the late Joe Cormier, Jr. and the former Dot Richard.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Lenel Batiste of Lewisburg; her sisters, Guen, Judy and Therese and her son, Joseph Lee Cormier.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 14 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point and continue there on Wednesday from 8:00 am until the time of service. A rosary will be recited in the funeral home at 7:00 pm Tuesday evening.
