Church Point, LA:      Graveside funeral services will be held at a later date at Mount Olive Cemetery in Big Spring, TX for Mr. Bernon B. Hinson, 88, who passed away at 7:15 AM Monday, September 9, 2024 at his residence.

Bernon, a resident of Mire, LA, was the son of the late Curtis Hinson and the former Willie Merle Sanders.

He is survived by his two sons, Jon Aaron Hinson of Mire and Bobby Darryl Hinson of Lafayette, LA; four grandchildren, Bobby Darryl Hinson, Jr. of Lafayette, Mark Able Hinson of Lafayette, Trelany Nicole Hinson Andrade of San Antonio, TX and Natasha Lynn Hinson of Lafayette; four great-grandchildren, Ezra Zayne, Adalynn Zuri Andrade, Emmy Andrade and Noah Andrade; one sister, Pat Hinson Myrick of Springfield, MO and his twin brother, Vernon V. Hinson of Westwego, LA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Glenda N. Hinson and one brother, James R. Hinson
