Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Barbara Doucet, 70, the former Barbara Ruth Miller, who passed away on Thursday evening, August 11 at The Road Home Recovery Center in Church Point. Fr. Clinton Sensat, Pastor of St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral services.
Barbara, a native of Vancouver, BC and resident of Eunice, LA, was the daughter of the late Frank Miller and the former Mildred Hitchen.

She is survived by two sons, Paul C. Doucet and wife Valerie of Church Point and LeMonte A. Doucet and wife Cristina of Church Point; four grandsons, Christopher Doucet, Aundre Doucet, Antonio Doucet and Austin Doucet; two great grandchildren, Jaymis Doucet and Rose Mary Doucet and one sister, Valerie Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Brett Doucet and one sister, Mary Lynn Goulart.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point on Monday, August 15 and continue on Tuesday from 8:00 am until the time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Monday evening in the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be LeMonte, Paul, Christopher, Aundre, Antonio, and Austin Doucet.
