Church Point, LA:         A Christian Burial Service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Barbara Ann Bourque, 62. Ms. Bourque, a long-time resident of Church Point, passed away Thursday, October 29 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA. Pastor Kerry Doucet of Crossway Fellowship; Crowley, LA, will conduct the service with committal following in the St. John Cemetery adjacent to the church in Lewisburg, LA.
She is survived by her son, Justin Darbonne and wife Danielle of Port Barre, LA; a daughter, Danielle Andrus and husband Phillip of Church Point; her sisters: Patricia Trahan and husband Kirk of Lewisburg, Jeanna Dupree and husband Clay of Rayne, LA, Sue Sonnier and husband Rick Soileau of Lewisburg, Tammy Lamonte and husband "Gino" of Opelousas, LA and Lisa Marks and husband Neil of Church Point; her grandchildren (the delight of her life): Saige Soileau, Brylee and Laine Andrus and Karson and Laikyn Darbonne and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raoul and Wilda Carrier Bourque and a brother, Leroy Bourque. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until the time of services on Sunday. Truly loved, Ms. Bourque filled her life with serving the Lord and spending time with her family and friends. Guidry Funeral Home, 219 N. Broadway St., Church Point, LA is in charge of final arrangements.
