A Memorial Service will be held at a date and time to be determined by family for Barbara Jean "Bobbie" Wernersson, 71. Ms. Wernersson, a native of Peoria, Ill. and currently a resident of Church Point, La., died Sunday morning, February 22 at her brother's residence in Church Point.

Survivors include two brothers, Kenneth Smith of Church Point and Gerald Savoy of Lawtell, La.; two sisters, Cynthia Carrier of Church Point and Judy Franz of Maurice, La. and three nieces, Brandi Richard and husband Phillip and Michelle Richard and husband Kenneth-all of Church Point and Kim Sayre and husband Jerry of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison and Theda Meadows Cole; her adopted mother, Loity Savoy; an infant son and a brother.
