Church Point, LA   Mr. Antoine Allen Artigue, Sr., 71, a native of Arnaudville, LA and long-time resident of Prairie Ronde, LA, died Friday morning, October 14, 2016 at his residence. Any memorial service will be determined by family.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Artigue of Prairie Ronde; a son, Antoine Artigue, Jr. and wife Melanie LaFleur Artigue of Prairie Ronde; his daughters, Vanessa Sharp and husband Larry of Turkey Creek, LA, Ramence Nguyen and husband UT and Constance Aucoin and husband Rogers-all of Prairie Ronde, Paula Le and husband Nuoi of Opelousas, LA and Cheryl Clavier and husband Roger of Church Point, Yvonne Lagneau and husband Kevin of Carencro, LA, Jessica Smithey of Carencro and Kimberly Alleman and husband Patrick of Mire, LA; his brothers, Harris Artigue and wife Jane of Arnaudville and Rodney Artigue and wife JoAnn and Harold Artigue and wife Aline-all of Cecilia, LA.; forty-three grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Angelle Guidry Artigue; one brother, two sisters and two infant granddaughters. A soft-hearted family man, Mr. Artigue loved to hunt and fish.
