Church Point, LA:            Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Annie Mae Babineaux, 96. Mrs. Babineaux, who lived for a number of years near Church Point, died Thursday evening, September 26 at Eunice Manor Nursing Home in Eunice, LA. Pastor Gary Mitchel will conduct the services and the interment following in the Chatagnier Baptist Cemetery, Hwy 29, Chatagnier, LA.

Survivors include a son, Donald Smith and wife Clara Bourque Smith of Erath, LA; her daughters, Barbara Smith Fontenot of Swords, LA and Clara Smith Pennartz and husband Mel of Ragley, LA; twenty grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Neston Smith; her parents, Christopher and Elina Arceneaux Babineaux; two sons, John Ray Smith and Ned Joseph Smith and three grandsons, John jessie Smith, Michael Shane Smith and Stein Fontenot.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 8:00 A.M. Saturday until the time of the services. A homemaker who worked in restaurants and took care of the elderly, Mrs. Babineaux loved sewing, gardening, and baking. Truly loved, she will be sadly missed by her extended family and friends.
