Church Point, LA:   Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Mr. Andrew "Andy" Richard, 81, who passed away at 6:20 PM Sunday, February 23, at Eunice Manor in Eunice, LA. Chris Frye, Pastor of New Hope Church of Eunice, will perform the Services.

Andy, a resident of Eunice, was the son of the late Isadore Richard and the former Clothile Leger. A loving husband, father and grandfather who loved the Lord; he was a faithful member and usher at New Hope Church of Eunice for 16 years. Andy loved horses and being with his loving wife, children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary "Pampy" Richard of Eunice; two daughters, Renee Fruge and husband Pat of Basile, LA and Cherie Pitcock and husband Ron of Denver, CO; one son, Todd Richard and wife Pam of Central, LA; eleven grandchildren: Drew and Matt Fruge, Michael, Callie, Colin and Seth Richard, Jordan and Ashleigh Antrim and Jacie, Ron Jr. and Travis Pitcock; two great-grandchildren, Gus and Lex Fruge and one sister, Virgie Arnold of Opelousas, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters and two brothers.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Saturday, March 1, from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Andy's name to Hope Healthcare and Hospice, 301 E. Kaliste Saloom Road, Suite 201, Lafayette, LA 70508.
