Church Point, LA:         A Private Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Amber Gail Devillier, 38. Ms. Devillier, a native of Eunice, LA and resident of rural St. Landry Parish near Lewisburg, LA, passed away Friday evening, January 14 at her residence. Greg Gaspard, pastor of Unity Baptist Mission, Opelousas, LA, will officiate at the service and interment will be in the Miller Cemetery north of Eunice, LA.

She is survived by her parents, David and Monica Fruge Devillier of Eunice, LA; her maternal grandmother, Eldean Smith Devillier of Eunice; her companion, Jack Franciol of Lewisburg; her children: Alandon Tave, Lilyan Gail and Hunter Ray Rashall; a brother, David Lance Devillier and wife Crystal of Lawtell, LA; three sisters: Anecia Devillier of Rolling Fork, MS, Sarah Desiree Fruge and husband Elliott of Ball, LA and Rebekah Joy Fontenot and husband "T.J." of Washington, LA and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James Leroy and Inez Boone Fruge and her paternal grandfather, Dalvas Devillier. The child she was expecting when she died, to be named Isabella Faith Franciol, died with her.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM on Monday, January 17. There will be no public viewing on Tuesday. There will be a private service for the immediate family, only. Ms. Devillier, a self-employed beautician for a number of years, was truly loved and will be missed by her extended family and friends. Guidry Funeral Home, 219 N. Broadway St., Church Point, LA is in charge of final arrangements.
