Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at the Guidry Funeral Chapel, Church Point for Amanda Kay Marcantel Bellard, 28, the former Amanda Kay Marcantel. Mrs. Bellard, a native of Lake Charles, La. and resident of Church Point, died at 4:34 P.M. Friday, December 19 at Lafayette General Hospital; Lafayette, La. Deacon Jim Cormier will conduct the services with interment following in the Monsignor Bienvenu Catholic Cemetery; Highway 35, Church Point.

Survivors include her father, Fred Marcantel and stepmother Cindy Borne Marcantel of Church Point; her husband, Tommy Bellard of Church Point; her mother, Cynthia Cassia Pomeroy and stepfather Charles Pomeroy, Sr. of Trinity, Tex.; a son, Paxton C. Rollins of Church Point; two brothers, Justin Shawn Marcantel and wife Mandy of Kinder, La. and Joshua Adams Marcantel and wife Brandi of Gonzales, La.; a sister, Carrie Barnette and husband Billy of Kinder, La.; six stepbrothers and stepsisters and thirteen nieces and nephews.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Monday, December 22 and continue from 8:00 A.M. Tuesday until the time of the services.

A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Monday by Deacon Cormier.
