Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at St. John Catholic Chapel in Lewisburg, La. for Alfred Thibodeaux, 78. Mr.Thibodeaux died at Acadia-St. Landry Hospital in Church Point at 7:20 A.M., Monday, July 30, 2007. He was a native and life-long resident of Lewisburg, La. Fr. Jeff Deblanc will conduct the services. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery in Lewisburg, La.

Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Laure Guilbeau Thibodeaux of Lewisburg, La., eight sons: Fred Thibodeaux & wife Tammy of Lewisburg; Pat Thibodeaux & wife Carol of Orange, Texas; Wade Thibodeaux & wife Flo of Lawtell, La.; Charles "Blue" Thibodeaux of Carencro, La.; Oran Thibodeaux & wife Lynda of Carencro, La.; Frank "Rooster" Thibodeaux & wife Leisha of Morgan City, La.; Mark Thibodeaux of Lewisburg, La. and Ira "Bo" Thibodeaux & wife Kathy of Opelousas, La.; also one daughter Judy Courville & husband Thomas of Basile, La. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The deceased was preceded in death by an infant son, Alfred Dale Thibodeaux, an infant grand-daughter, Emily Kate Thibodeaux, a grandson , James Thibodeaux & his wife Danielle Thibodeaux, his parents Isaure and Emar Thibodeaux and six sisters and five brothers.

Pallbearers will be David, Eric, Jordan, Guy & Dustin Thibodeaux and Brent Bellow.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. and continue on Wednesday from 8:00 A.M. until time of services.
Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 7:00 P.M. by Fr. Jeff Deblanc.
