Church Point, La. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Church Point for Aldon J. Estilette, Sr., 91. Mr. Estilette, a native and life-long resident of Church Point, died at 2:05 P.M. Thursday, February 17 at his residence. Monsignor Jefferson J. DeBlanc will conduct the services with interment following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Church Point.

Survivors include his sons, Aldon J. Estilette, Jr. and wife Debra and Tony Estilette and wife Susan-all of Church Point and Chuck Estilette and wife Jo Ann of Sunset, La.; a daughter, Linda Richard and husband Roger of Church Point; a sister, Lucille Boudreaux of Carencro, La.; his grandchildren: Linton, Monty, Tonia, Cody, Kelly, Kayla, Tony James, Ryan and E.J. Estilette, Nickole Comeaux, Dusty Richard, Lori R. Smith and Leslie Albarado and his great-grandchildren: Devin, Paisley, Karsin and Gracie Ann Estilette, Macy and Collin McCarty, Kylie Comeaux, Amber and Phillip Richard, Brennan, Jayden and Layla Smith, Harley and Connor Albarado, Averi Moore and Bailey, Peyton and Chloe Guidry.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nedia Colligan Estilette.
The family requested that visiting hours begin at 12:00 Noon Saturday, February 19 and continue uninterrupted until the time of the services on Sunday. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 6:30 P.M. on Saturday by Monsignor DeBlanc.
A U.S. Army veteran of WWII with service in the European Theater, Mr. Estilette was a member of American Legion Post 225 in Church Point. He will be honored with a Flag Presentation Ceremony by the Post Honor Guard at the time of services.
The family wishes to extend "Special Thanks" to Ryan and Michelle and to his caretakers: Connie, Kayla and Tina.
