Mrs. Agnes was a member of a local "Bourre" club and the Quilters' Guild Acadienne. "Always a farm girl at heart, she loved raising chickens and had a vegetable garden, canning what wasn't eaten right away. She was an expert seamstress. When not making beautiful clothing, her hands were always busy crocheting and quilting, leaving many treasured memories of love for her family to enjoy for years to come. Her most enjoyable pastime after raising her kids was the "Bourre" table. She was competitive and enjoyed many days and evenings at the card table with her many card-playing friends over the years, taking her share of winnings."
Personal condolences may be sent to the Joubert family at www.guidryfuneralhome.com. Guidry Funeral Home, 219 N. Broadway St., Church Point, LA is in charge of final arrangements.
